Another Bad News...

Just last month, I read some news about a fashion model’s unsuccessful cosmetic procedure. She claimed it left her “permanently deformed.”
Now, I’m not really trying to weigh in on the matter, but have you ever wondered…
Why are these messed-up plastic surgeries so sensationalized?
Maybe it’s because of the media’s penchant for negativity bias.
After all, bad news sells.
But the problem here is that these headlines paint plastic surgery in a bad light…
When the truth is, these botched surgeries are just a teeny tiny percentage of the overall plastic surgery picture.
Did you know that only 1 out of 13,000 people dies from tummy tuck surgery?
For the much-demonized Brazilian butt lift, it’s just 1 out of 20,000.
And for liposuction, it’s only 1 out of 50,000.
*And more often than not, unsuccessful plastic surgeries happen because of your choice of surgeon!
Plastic surgeries are VERY SAFE when performed by experienced, reputable, and board-certified plastic surgeons.
But don’t just take my word for it.
