No, I don’t have mind-reading powers!

It’s just that this is the most common question I encounter from my would-be patients.

Even before our initial consultation when they’re still inquiring on my Facebook or Instagram page…

Many patients often ask me:

“How much would my tummy tuck/liposuction/BBL cost?”

After all, there’s no point going for a consultation if you can’t afford it in the first place, right?

But while I understand that plastic surgeries can cost a fortune…

I am bothered about how the price could often become the single most important factor patients consider when getting cosmetic surgery.

Instead of actually researching for the best plastic surgeons in their area…

They scout for promo, bargains, and discounts before anything else.

Everything else plays second fiddle.

You know…

This is the most DANGEROUS way to go about your plans.

Did you know that a lot of cosmetic clinics in the US are owned by businessmen with NO medical background whatsoever?

And even if they have physicians to do the procedures, some don’t have any training, experience, or board certification in plastic surgery.

Laws in 48 states (including Florida) allow doctors to perform plastic surgery even if they are NOT certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

That means any medical doctor—like a dermatologist or ENT specialist—could legally perform a breast augmentation or plus size tummy tuck.

That’s probably why you’ll see such a vast disparity in pricing among various plastic surgery clinics.

These physicians didn’t undergo expensive plastic surgery training and certification, so they have more leeway pricing their services.

Look…

I’m not saying that the more expensive a surgery is, the better.

But you have to be careful with plastic surgeries costing far less than the average price because you might be dealing with a licensed physician with an unrelated specialty.

That doctor might not even be present during your operation!

So, instead of looking for the provider of the cheapest surgery…

Why not research the best plastic surgeons first and then compare their prices afterward?

Remember: this is still an operation, so safety should be your priority.

And if you really have a hard time finding funds for your surgery…

The rest of this newsletter might just help you.
