Your Safety Is My Priority, and Here’s How I Make Sure Of It

Your safety during surgery starts with your chosen plastic surgeon.

And frankly, you don’t have to look too far to find a credible surgeon with a proven track record.

Check out the ways I ensure your safety both on the operating table and even as you recover from your procedure:

All my training, certifications, and recognitions

Of course, I finished my medical studies at reputable universities.

I got my undergraduate degree from Indiana University and subsequently attended The Medical College of Pennsylvania.

I then completed a General Surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami, followed by a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at The University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Plus, I’m double-certified by both The American Board of Surgery and The American Board of Plastic Surgery.

And just recently, I’ve been named as one of Miami’s top plastic surgeons by a reputable media publication.

With all these things plus my 20 years of experience, you can rest assured that I’m perfectly qualified to perform your surgery.

I operate in hospitals.

Most plastic surgeons perform their surgeries in their own clinics.

But because I want to prioritize your safety, I’ve developed long-standing ties with South Florida’s best hospitals so I can operate on my patients in a hospital setting. I have hospital privileges in the following facilities:

  • Memorial Hospitals West, Pembroke, Miramar, Regional, and South
  • Hialeah Hospital
  • Aventura Hospital
  • Mount Sinai Hospital
  • Doctors Hospital

Having your overweight plastic surgery in a hospital ensures immediate care in case of emergency or any untoward situation.

I assess every patient thoroughly and meticulously.

As a double board-certified plastic surgeon, I follow a traditional approach to medicine to exceed my patients’ expectations safely and realistically.

While I operate on patients who have been turned down because of their high BMI, I make ABSOLUTELY sure that they have a clean bill of health before they go under the knife.

That means interviewing patients about their medical and family history, running laboratory and diagnostic tests, and fully educating them about possible risks and complications.

Only when these safety precautions are met that I proceed with their overweight plastic surgery.
